![]() Having tested heterogeneous (what a fun word!) rendering in Chaos Group’s V-Ray, I can say that the gains can sometimes be (legitimately) jaw-dropping. Not long after that, yet another feature-packed version came out – this one supporting heterogeneous rendering (CPU+GPU). Not even one full month later, the company released a new version of the plugin that delivered notable performance boosts. That said, I took an in-depth look at what ProRender could do in 3ds Max back in April.
